Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.
Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.
An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.
Manuscript Preparation Guideline
Title
The title should be concise, clear, and informative, avoiding unnecessary words and abbreviations. Where possible, it should reflect the main finding or conclusion of the study rather than simply describing its subject.
Abstract
The abstract should clearly present the significance, objectives, methodology, key findings, and conclusions of the study in a single structured paragraph (e.g., IMRAD format). It should be concise, informative, and understandable to a broad audience. Avoid abbreviations, references, figures, and tables. Authors should follow the abstract format specified for the article type. For clinical trial reports, include the trial registration number and the URL of the public trial registry.
Manuscript Length
The manuscript length includes only the main text, footnotes, and in-text citations, but excludes the abstract, headings, figure and table captions, table contents, acknowledgements, funding statement, and reference list. The total word count, together with the number of tables and figures, should not exceed 10,000 words.
Manuscript Organization
Manuscripts should be organized using clear headings and subheadings appropriate to the study. Up to five levels of headings may be used where necessary.
For Original Research Articles, the recommended structure is:
- Introduction: Brief and focused, without subheadings.
- Materials and Methods: Provide sufficient detail to enable replication of the study. Include an ethics approval statement for studies involving human participants or animals.
- Results: Present findings clearly using appropriate subheadings where necessary.
- Discussion: Interpret the findings, compare them with previous studies, highlight the study's significance and limitations, and suggest implications and directions for future research.
A combined Results and Discussion is also acceptable.
