This study examined the effect of cassava farmer's productivity on the poverty status of cassava farmers in the study area. The study was carried out in Osun state. The study adopted multistage sampling procedure. Descriptive statistics, gross margin technique, total factor productivity, multidimensional poverty index and probit regression model were used to analyze the data. About 26% of the respondents had less than 10 years farming experience; 38.7% had between 1 to 3 acreage of farm size. The estimated gross margin #203,647.7 revealed that cassava production is profitable. The estimated mean total factor productivity of 0.531322 revealed that for every 1 naira incurred in cassava production there was approximately 0.532kg of cassava produced. The estimated multidimensional poverty headcount of 0.41% was the percentage of deprivation. The probit regression model analysis showed that sex, marital status, experience, farm size, healthcare, household size, income and TFP were all significant.
